Row & Loop Terms of Use

Last updated: October 16, 2026

These terms are an agreement between you and Shawn Avery ("we", "us"), the developer of Row & Loop ("the app"). By using the app you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the app. Questions: support@pcsolutions.studio.

1. Using the app

Row & Loop has no accounts. You can use every part of it without signing up.

Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies to your use of the app. If it conflicts with these terms, these terms apply to the extent the law allows.

2. Your content

You own the patterns, charts, photos, notes and other content you create in the app. It stays on your devices and in your iCloud, and we never see it.

3. Patterns you import

Patterns you buy or download from designers belong to those designers. Import only patterns you have the right to use, use them for your own making, and don't share copies with other people unless the designer allows it.

4. Row & Loop Plus

Plus is an optional upgrade sold through the App Store, as a yearly or monthly subscription or a one-time lifetime purchase. Apple handles payment, renewals and refunds.

  • Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel in the app (the Account tab, under Plus) or in your Apple Account settings.
  • The yearly plan can start with a free trial, and gift codes can give free months. When a free period ends it turns into the paid plan shown in the app, unless you cancel at least 24 hours before it ends. The app shows how many days are left and when the first payment happens, and can remind you 2 days before.
  • Prices are shown in the app before you buy, and may change; changes apply from your next renewal after notice.
  • Lifetime means for as long as we offer the app and its Plus features.
  • Accessibility features, counting, iCloud sync and the Apple Watch counter are never part of Plus.

5. The app as it is

We work hard to keep your counts safe and the app reliable, but the app is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows. Imported patterns come from their designers, not us, and the app's reading of them may contain mistakes, so check them against the original.

6. Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for lost data, arising from your use of the app. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for Plus in the 12 months before the claim. Some places don't allow these limits, so they may not apply to you.

7. Ending your use

You can stop using the app at any time by deleting it; your data in iCloud can be removed in iOS Settings. Sections 5, 6 and 8 continue after that.

8. General

These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except where the law where you live requires otherwise. If part of these terms can't be enforced, the rest still applies. We may update these terms; if a change is meaningful, we'll tell you in the app before it takes effect, and continuing to use the app means you accept the update. A future version may add optional community features with their own rules, which will be added here before they launch.
